  • Power NI Announce Electricity Price Rise

    22nd May 2013

Power NI have today announced that electricity prices are due to rise by 18% in July!

This increase in electricity prices will effect both domestic customers and commercial customers including farmers and on average will increase domestic bills by £90 annually.

For many the time is now right to make an investment in Solar PV to help offset this price rise in the cost of electricity. With Power NI set to be administering a domestic grant in June worth, if the initial insights are correct, 20% of the installation cost,  it may well now be the perfect time to invest.

Businesses and farmers too can avail of grant aid with regards to a Solar PV installation with the NISEP administering a 20% grant along with Electric Ireland for interested SME's.
